A North Texas football team is hoping to give Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones just what he wants for Christmas.
The undefeated Aledo Bearcats will play in the Class 4A Division II state championship game this weekend at AT&T Stadium. Fans plan to show up for the game wearing sweatshirts that poke fun at Jerry’s team.
The sweatshirt says, “Dear Jerry, We heard you need a winner. We will be there this weekend. Hang tight. Love, Aledo.”
They are being sold for $25 through Merch Haus, an Aledo-based apparel company.
The game between Aledo and Brenham will air on FOX Sports Southwest at noon Saturday.
Aledo was recently named the nation’s single season scoring leader. The team regularly pummels opponents.
