Chris Brown was arrested in D.C. this morning for felony assault after a man allegedly claimed he attacked him. According to TMZ, the victim suffered a broken nose after he and a friend photo bombed the singer and a female fan outside the W Hotel.
The two apparently got into an argument around 4:30 AM, which ended with Brown punching the other man. The incident is being considered a felony assault.The R&B singer is currently in custody, and law enforcement sources say he didn’t appear to be under the influence during the altercation. The other man is being evaluated at a D.C. hospital.
Because Brown is still on probation, a conviction would be grounds for violating his probation, which means he could face up to 4 years in prison.
