We’ve been waiting for Salma Hayek to re-emerge on the big screen ever since her role in Frida, and it looks as though we’ve gotten our wish. The actress will star opposite 007 star Pierce Brosnan and Jessica Alba in the upcoming film How to Make Love Like an Englishman.
The film, billed as a romantic comedy, focuses on an English professor (Brosnan) who eventually falls for his academic counterpart (Hayek). Plot twist? Alba, who plays Hayek’s stepsister in the film, is pregnant with the professor’s baby (oh snap). The plot has all the makings of a baby mama drama gone (incredibly) awry.
Filming will begin this fall, so we’re looking out for a 2014 debut. Here’s hoping some spoilers are released way in advance.
