In the last few weeks, we’ve seen the release of new albums from Jay-Z, Kanye West, J. Cole, and Wale all dropped albums that hit #1 on Billboard- Magna Carta Holy Grail, Yeezus, Born Sinner, & The Gifted respectively. One interesting fact that very little attention has been brought to is that all of the artists are either on, or somehow connected to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation. It’s safe to say Roc Nation is officially running hip hop- but who out of the 4 of them did it best with their respective album??!!
