“Django Unchained” Racks Up Most Nominations For MTV Movie Awards

“Django Unchained” is enjoying a very healthy post-awards afterlife.  The revenge fantasy western racked up seven nominations for this year’s MTV Movie Awards.  Nominations include Best Picture, Best Male Performance (Jamie Foxx), Best On-Screen Duo (Samuel L. Jackson and Leonardo DiCaprio) and Best Kiss (Jamie Foxx and Kerry Washington).

Other nominations include Quvenzhane Wallis in Best Breakthrough Performance for “Beasts of The Southern Wild”, and Denzel Washington for Best WTF Moment in “Flight.”
