During the 61st Annual NBA All-Star Weekend in Orlando next weekend, Hip Hop artists are taking over!
AllHipHop.com reports, R&B star Mary J. Blige will sing the U.S. national anthem and halftime show will feature Pitbull and Ne-Yo with Nicki Minaj.
Fresh off her Superbowl appearance and her strange Grammy appearance, She get another opportunity to perform at halftime and reports are that she will perform a medley of her hits.
The NBA’s All-star Saturday night includes Black Eyed Peas leader will.I.am performing on Saturday, prior to the three point contest. Flo Rida will take to the court to perform “Good Feeling,” just before the Sprite Slam Dunk contest.
In addition to the All-Star weekend performances, a variety of artists will take part in a celebrity basketball game. Look out for rapper Common, comedian JB Smoove, Penny Hardaway, Nick Anderson, Indiana Fever’s star Tamika Catchings and others.
The celebrity All-Star game takes place on Friday night, February 24 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
The 61st Annual NBA All-Star game is slated to take place on Sunday, starting at 7:00 PM on TNT.
