FORT WORTH, Texas – Several students were arrested early Wednesday morning on the campus of Texas Christian University as part of what school officials are calling an “investigation into drug selling.”

The number of arrests is not yet known, but according to a post by Chancellor Victor Boschini, Jr. on the TCU website , “many” current students were arrested at different locations on campus.

The investigation was a joint effort between TCU police and the Fort Worth police department.

According to a FAQ post also on the site, 71 students were disciplined in 2011 for drug law violations.

UPDATE: The Names of the students arrested include the following student-athletes: David (D.J.) W. Yendrey, a junior defensive tackle from Edna; Devin Johnson, a junior defensive back from Oklahoma City, Okla.; Tanner Wilson Brock, Jr., a junior linebacker from Copperas Cove; Tyler (Ty) Horn, a sophomore offensive tackle from McGregor.
